Subject: Software Opportunities?
Dennis,
I wanted to update you on our focus in the software sector. After our acquisition of XXXXXXXXXXX earlier this year we are working to find other software businesses to invest in or acquire. Companies that have the following characteristics would be most interesting to us:
• At least $2 million of EBITDA
• Vertically focused within an industry (market size $100mm +)
• Legacy (on-premise) or “SaaS” (on-demand)
• Management staying on or transitioning out
We have the flexibility to invest in situations where management wants to exit since we have teamed up with software executive XXXXXXX XXXXXXXX. If you would like a background on him or if you have an opportunity that meets the profile feel free to drop me an email or give me a call.
Sincerely,
Matthew XXXXXXXXXXXXXX
