When you are an active experienced business professional and writer it's inevitable that you get many requests for consulting and mentoring; as readers launch their businesses or use what they learn from my articles and books and buy or start a new business or take an existing business or profession to a new level (or in a different direction).
While I used to have the time to answer all the phone calls and questions emailed to me, time-wise, it quickly became unfeasible. With that in mind, I launched a one-on-one, fee-based Business Coaching & Consulting program, with services purchased in one-hour increments.
Since starting my business career over 26 years ago, I've absorbed an enormous amount of knowledge about and experience with businesses in many industries and specifically over the years with a focus on my M&A and business start-up/launch consulting. Much of that information and experience in business is in my books, and finds its way into my articles and other publications. My ongoing work and contacts with literally thousands of people along the way add up to a whole universe of knowledge about working with business owners, brokers, buyers and investors – across a broad spectrum of circumstances and situations.
Unlike many authors who make their money from telling others about a particular field (through sales of books and related products), while not actually being involved in the field anymore, I continue to be an active consultant working on M&A, business development and other business deals. I feel that if I’m going to offer guidance to those buying, or starting businesses, I can’t be providing second-hand advice. As for my rates, I know what my industry peers charge for their services, and my rates are extraordinarily reasonable for the value delivered. But, don’t believe me. Do your own research and find out.
Speaking with someone with years, in my case over 2 decades, of practical business experience very often can save you dozens of hours of effort and hundreds, possibly thousands of dollars.

Contact me by email, at least one week in advance of when you want to talk, and tell me about what you need help with. In the subject line of your email, please put CONSULTING CALL QUOTE REQUEST and I'll reply via email and provide you a quote for the consulting appointment.
To schedule the call I'll send you my open schedule (for non-holiday business days M-F, between 9:30AM and 6:00PM, Eastern). You choose an open date/time from that to email back to me for the call appointment and I will confirm back to you. When a date/time is set I will send you an invoice via PayPal. Make payment for the invoice (see payment method below) at least 2 business days in advance of the requested consulting call date/time. I will confirm payment receipt and re-confirm the scheduled call appointment date/time.

I will send you an invoice via PayPal, my payment processor. You can pay this invoice without having to set up a PayPal account.
